In 2020 GASSAN celebrated its 75th anniversary and we are extremely proud of this. To honor this special milestone, we are introducing a special historical tour at our historical diamond factory. GASSAN is a family business founded in 1945 by Samuel GASSAN in the Amsterdam diamond district. Today HOUSE of GASSAN is located in one of the most iconic and monumental buildings of the diamond city in Amsterdam; a beautiful restored originally steam driven diamond factory.
With 75 years of knowledge and craftsmanship, GASSAN is the best to tell you everything about the history of the diamond industry in Amsterdam. This tour also offers a trip down memory lane with an explanation of the history of our family business, including all the highlights of the past 75 years. One of our guides will tell you in detail about all these highlights. From the way in which the construction of the beautiful building was realized and the foundations implemented by Samuel Gassan to the success of GASSAN Diamonds. That today is due to grandson and CEO Benno Leeser and his children Debora Huisman-Leeser and David Bijlsma.
After this tour, experience the ultimate shopping experience in our Boutique with brands such as Tudor, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Chopard, Tag Heuer, Longines and also the GASSAN own brands: GASSAN 121, Choices by DL and Gigi by GASSAN. Here you will also find the GASSAN75 anniversary jewelery collection and the 'Legacy Edition GASSAN Watch' which was made in collaboration with the Swiss watch brand Louis Erard for this special milestone.

Experience the craftsmanship of the diamond cutters and see the process of transforming a rough diamond into a dazzling brilliant.
In our showroom you can see loose polished diamonds in various sizes and qualities such as our ‘GASSAN 121’ cut and GASSAN’s large collection of jewellery.
HOUSE OF GASSAN has an atelier where jewellery is designed and settings can be adjusted.
HOUSE OF GASSAN is particularly proud of its Rolex Boutique, which includes a Rolex Service workshop where you can see certified watchmakers at work.
At the end of the tour you will have the opportunity to take a look at the beautifully renovated Boutique on the ground floor of HOUSE OF GASSAN. The Boutique offers a high-end shopping experience, including shop-in-shops where exclusive brands such as Tudor, Jaeger-LeCoultre, IWC, Chopard, TAG Heuer and Longines now have a brand shop.
